SRX Rainbow Separator Nut

Factory OEM separator nut for the model RHCS19 SRX series Rainbow system.
Full plastic nut with a brass insert to ensure a snug fit that will not easily strip.
NOTE: Due to the robust design and increased torque of the SRX motor, it is necessary to be sure the separator nut is tightened properly. Rexair recommends that when replacing the separator onto the shaft, use the provided wrench to tighten the separator nut.
All previous models instructed a "finger tight" requirement so this is a major change to the care and use of the new SRX cleaning system.

"My only issue with the plastic bolt is that it is plastic. Upon using the tools provided I was unsuccessful in removing the bolt and it’s completely rounded off. It’s such a shame that such a nice piece of machinery doesn’t have machined metal bolts- which would prevent this issue from occurring in the first place. Could you please just make machined metal bolts to the same dimensions to fix this issue?"

This item was a solid brass on earlier models, but since 2011, the current models use an electronic control board that is open to static shock from using a metal/brass nut. This is why the nut for these models are plastic. Remove more often to help prevent this nut from getting stuck in place. Also, use the plastic wrench that is provided with the Rainbow.
