Over time the receptacle in your Rainbow D3C unit can wear. If the power nozzle cord keeps falling out easily, replacing this will fix the problem. Will not fit the model D3A as the sockets are not as wide.

"This receptacle cord that is mounted inside the Rainbow D3C and is used so you can plug in the cord from the power nozzle. It installed easy and now the connection is good and tight so it does not come unplugged while vacuuming. Price was fair and shipped promptly. "
