The sole plate can sometimes get cracked or broken over the years of use. Replace this part to help protect the brush roll as well as keeping up performance. A damaged sole plate can allow leakage into the air suction path.
This front sole plate fits the model PN-2 power nozzle. The first version did not protect the end bearings very well. If you have issues with debris collecting around the end bearings on the brush roll, this revised version will help prevent the problem from repeating.
UPDATE: This sole plate is no longer available as an exact match. Rexair has replaced this with a universal sole plate that works on several models.
It is an exact fit and will retain the same performance.
