Latch pin spring that fits the E2 Type 12 (Black, Silver, e2 Gold), and E-2 (e SERIES™) version Rainbow systems.
This part helps keep the latches up out of the way to prevent the latch from hooking the water pan when trying to remove the main unit from the water pan.
NOTE: This spring can also replace the R2654 D4 spring, and the model D3 R1585 spring. A HOW-TO video showing how to bend and install will be in your order e-mail.

This worked for my D4c SE as the site suggested even though I don't think it's an exact fit. It was kinda tricky to get in so if you have at least one functioning one to see how it goes as an example that helps.

Although my rainbow vacuum is a substantially older model SE D4, the parts worked perfectly and we're very easy to repair. I ordered these items both online and the phone number provided by rain back and found the employees very helpful professional and easy to understand! Thank you
