Details
Cap / Cap cover assembly for the E2 Type 12 (e2 Gold) version Rainbow vacuum. This part is used with the model that DOES NOT use the acoustic foam.
Effective serial number 1000000 with a start date of September 4th 2003 through serial number 1187449 and an end date of January 12th 2006.
Internal number of R12029 may be located inside top center. This number is used on the Black, Silver, and Gold series Rainbow. It is a manufacturer part number for round center disc and does not represent the entire cap assembly. Do not use this as an exact match to this item number.
You may also find internally item number R11960. So far we have only found this number on this item but we wouldn't take it as 100%. The serial number and matching the schematics is the best way to confirm.

This was a direct replacement for the cap cover assembly. I emailed a picture of our machine to RainVac, and they responded that night with the correct part number. The item shipped fast, and our vacuum is now working as good as new.
