Carbon Brush Seating Stone

This seating stone is for cleaning carbon buildup on the armature commutator on all D series and E-2 Rainbow vacuum cleaners. Carbon buildup on your commutator can reduce performance and may not allow the motor to run smoothly.

We have reduced the price on this item and will ship a piece meant for 5-6 uses. There is no need to order a full 4 sticks for do-it-yourself repairs.

Spider, D3/D2A

Original metal spider for the bypass motor design that came original on the D3A and D2A model Rainbow. Works with both the plastic and metal R312 separator.

The D3A and D2A original motor uses the R3450 screw style separator bolt. It DOES NOT use the H524 nut design.

D3A and D2A Rainbow Motor Cooling Fan

Motor cooling fan for the D3A and D2A model Rainbow. This fan pushes down into a grove that is around the shaft of the armature close to the commutator.

Rainbow Model D3A, D2A, D2, and D Motor Brush

Your motor will not start without the carbon brush. Replace a damaged or worn out carbon brush with this exact factory OEM part.

This item is sold each. If you need a pair to replace both sides on your motor, then please add a quantity of (2) to your cart.

Original OEM factory carbon brush for the model D3A, D2A, D2, and D Rainbow. This brush is installed through the back of the holder and held in place by a plastic cap that screws into the holder.

* SELECT OPTION: This item needs to be "seated" for proper life expectancy. We use a variable transformer (variac) to seat the brushes. If you are unable, we offer this as an optional service.

If you do not seat the motor brushes, you can expect about a one year life before they wear out.

D3 and D2 120v Field Matches R1426 Armature

Field assembly for the R1405 and R1767 motor design. First bolt design armature (R1426) for the bypass motor design that works with this field. The carbon brush terminals on this field are the spade design that works with the R1552 carbon brushes.
