As of April 1st 2015, the Rainbow RainMate was improved with a new switch for allowing the unit to be ran with or without the light. Older versions had a high and low for the LED brightness.
The illuminated Ivory version RainMate, is a wonderful night-time accessory. Two settings allow you to select if you want to use the light feature. With the 120 volt shaded-pole motor design, you can expect your RainMate air purifier to last for several thousand hours.
