Effective serial number 4378001 with a start date of March 1980 through serial number 4607199 and an end date of June 4th, 1982.
NOTE: Through serial number 4388125 and an end date of June 29th 1980, the R1405 motor was standard. From serial number 4388126 through 4607199, the R1767 was standard.
Effective November 1981, with serial number 4545550 through 4607199, the revised R1909 armature and R1910 field was used.
NOTE: Motor version ranges are parts ranges, not machine ranges. A newer motor is a direct complete replacement for any earlier version in the same family (a D3 motor fits a D2), and the factory only sells the newest complete motor. Use the version that matches your serial number for individual parts; for a complete motor, order the newest version.
