"I have the Rainbow model D that I grew up with, bought in 1965. The power nozzle was added in 1978. I have throughly gone through and restored. The power of the motor was not as I remember. Replacing the armature restored the power. This was an exact fit and the motor works great. The armature was sold as used but looked new. The commutator bar was spotless and shiny."
